A Federal Law passed in 1995 requires all Canadians to register their guns with the government. The law continues to spark questions about individual rights, safety and security and economic costs. In 2012, PM Stephen Harper abolished the Canadian Firearms Registry and getting rid of years of gun documentation along with it. This, as expected, refuelled the debate and legitimacy of the Long Gun Registry in Canada yet again. So what do you think? Should gun ownership be restricted in Canada?
